Fee's and commissions
This policy is a part of our Terms and conditions which is binding to all users usings our services.
1- Our Fees take one of these forms:
A- Commission on Sales:
- For the first three (1) months following a seller's onboarding date, Artelio will charge zero commission on all sales. This introductory period allows new sellers to establish themselves on our platform.
- After the initial one-month period, a commission of 5% will be applied to the total price of each product sold. This commission will be calculated based on the final transaction price paid by the buyer.
B- Transaction/Processing Fee (for products under 5 K.D):
For orders under 5 Kuwaiti Dinars (K.D), a processing fee will be applied in addition to the commission (after the initial 1-month period). This fee consists of a fixed amount of 0.250 K.D . As an example, assuming the vendor’s set commission is 5%.
Ex.1 Product Price: 10 K.D.
- Commission: 5% of 10 K.D. = 0.500 K.D.
- Total Fee: 0.500 K.D.
Ex.2 Product Price: 3 K.D.
- Transaction Fee: 0.250 K.D.
- Commission: 5% of 3 K.D. = 0.150 K. D
- Total Fee: 0.250 K.D. + 0.150 K. D = 0.400 K.D.
2- Seller payout.
- Artelio will transfer the earnings from a sale to the seller after the successful delivery of the product to the buyer. This ensures that sellers receive payment once the transaction is complete, and the buyer has received their order.
- Sellers will receive their earnings from Artelio on the upcoming Monday or Thursday following the delivery of their sold items. Please verify that your payout details in your account settings are accurate to prevent any delays in payment processing.
3- Refunds and Withholding of Earnings:
- In the event a buyer initiates a refund claim for a purchase made by a seller on Artelio, Artelio is authorized to withhold the earnings paid by that buyer to the seller for the specific transaction in question. This process ensures a fair resolution for both parties in legitimate cases of product issues or discrepancies. By making a purchase on Artelio, buyers authorize Artelio to facilitate the return of their funds in accordance with our established refund policies.
- Funds withheld due to a refund claim will be released to the seller once the claim is thoroughly reviewed and resolved according to Artelio's policies. Sellers will be notified of the outcome of the refund process.
4- Exemption from Fees:
Artelio, at its sole discretion, may choose to exempt any vendor from its standard operating or commission fees. Such exemptions will be communicated directly to the vendor.
